Wildcard Outputs

The TRICK provides two "wildcard" outputs on its accessory connector for general purpose use.
These wildcard outputs are activated when the appropriate commands are received from the
wireline control console.
The wildcard outputs may be used by the control console operator to manage equipment at the
remote base station/repeater site. For example, disabling the security system at a remote repeater
site prior to a service engineer visit. Another application would be to activate an auxiliary encryption
unit on the remote end of a eased wireline.
Note:
Wildcard outputs are mutually exclusive with parallel channel change since both features
use the same physical output ports on the TRICK.
