HOLD switch on the main unit
Set this switch in the unit to ON.
*® At this time, the buttons of PLAY/DIR, STOP and FF/REW of the main unit does not function.
HOLD switch on the remote control
By holding this switch, the buttans of PLAY/DIR, STOP, FF/REW and S.P.SW of the remote
control does not function.
Full-Logic Mechanism
The full-logic mechanism refers to a systern in which tape transport is controllec electrically by just
light presses on the control keys.
The following phenomena may be observed in the operations of the full-lagic mechanism, but these
are not malfunctions.

Tape is wound slightly at the start or end of playback. (This operation is intended to remove
slack on tape.}

Tape transport stops when the headphone plug is inserted or removed while the remote control is used.
if the following phenomena occur during operation, open the cassette compartment once, then close
it, and proceed to operation again.
1) Tape playback starts when batteries have been replaced.
(@) No operation occurs when a control key is pressed.
S.P.SW. (Sound Adjustment)
Sound effect function of 4 positions (NORMAL (OFF), ROCK, FUSION, POPS) is provided in the
remote controller and OUTDOOR
and INDOOR effect function is pravided in the main unit.
You can select favorite effect from 8 combinations of these positions.
NORMAL
. The natural sound without effect. Suitable for classical music.
"ROCK"
: Powerful and clear sound from middle low range to treble range.
"FUSION"'
| Wide range and clear sound for fusion music.
"POPS"
| Middle range is boosted. Suitable for popular music.
"OUTDOOR"
: Sound processor circuit that suppresses noise in a train functions and bass range
is boosted.
"INDOOR"
' Narmal position that you can enjoy clear sound in the room.
Operations
The display changes as shown below, each time (S.P.SW.) on the
remote controller is pressed.
