Through bus messages, devices on the bus can exchange control and measurement
information. There are 12 basic messages which can be sent over the interface.
Table 3-12
lists
each bus message, giving a condensed description of the 5344S's response, and examples of
various controller's implementation of these messages. Paragraph 3-150 providesa more detailed
description of these messages.
