Use audio cord (not supplied) to connect an
optional analog component (MiniDisc player/
recorder or Portable Audio player, etc.) to this
,jack. You can then record or listen to the sound
l?'om the component through this system.
[] CD DIGITAL OUT jack
Use u digital optical cord (squure, not supplied)
to connect an amplifier, MiniDisc player/
recorder or DAT deck with a digital optical input
jack. Sound is then output when the system
function is set to CD. If the jack is covered with
a cap, remove it before use.
Notes
• There is no digital audio output from this jack during
playback of ATRAC3pIus/iVlP3 tracks.
• You cannot make a digital recoMing of a copy
guarded disc using a digital component connected to
this system. Also, playback may not be possible
depending on the connected component.
• Before connecting or disconnecting the audio cord
(not supplied), press VOLUME repeatedly lot turn
the VOLUME control on Ihe unit counterclock_ ise)
to turn down the vo]ume.
