-- Rec Timer
You can record a preset radio station from a
specified time.
To timer record, you must first preset the radio
station (see "Presettingradio staliol_s" on
page 18) and set the clock (see "Setting the
clock" on page 12).

Tune in the preset radio station (see
"Listening to a preset station" on
page 19).
Press CLOCK/rIMER SET.

Press I<1<1or _ repeatedly to select
"REC SET", then press ENTER.
"ON" appears and the hour indication
Hashes.
Set the time to start recording.
Press Iq_ or _ repeatedly to se{lhe
hour, then press ENTER.
The minule indication llashes.
Press Iq_ or _ repeatedly to sel lhe
minute, then press ENTER.
Setthe time to stop recording following
the same procedure as step 4.
The start time, the stop time, m_dthe preset
radio station to be recorded (e.g., "FM 5")
appear in turn, before the original display
returns.
6 Load a recordabletape.
7 Press I/(_) to turn off the system.

check the setting SELECT.

repeatedly until "REC SEL"
appears, then press ENTER.
Change the setting Start over from step I.
Cancel the timer 1 Press CLOCK_IMER
SELECT.

OFF" appears, then press
ENTER.
Notes
• You cannot activate the Ph,y Timer and the Rec
Timer at the same time.
• If you use the Rec Timer and the Sleep Timer at the
same time, the Sleep Timer has priority.
• Do not operate Ibe system from the time the system
turns on until the recording starts (about 15 seconds
before the preset time).
• lfthe system is on about 15 seconds before the preset
time, the Rec Timer will not be activated.
• The volume is reduced to minimum during
recording.
• The Rec Timer is canceled automatically alter the
Rec Timer has been activated.
