Faults
Water is leaking from the
appliance.
The appliance is not filling
with water.

Cause/remedy
Too much foam has been detected; additional rinse cycles have been activated.
The detergent drawer has not been pushed in fully. Push the detergent drawer

The pump unit is not inserted. Insert the pump unit into the drawer lid.

There is not enough detergent/softener in the w or M dispenser. Pour more deter-

The pump unit of the automatic dosing system is blocked. Switch off the appliance.

Not an appliance fault – the unbalanced load detection system has interrupted the
spin cycle because the laundry is unevenly distributed.
Distribute small and large items of laundry evenly in the drum. Run the spin cycle
again, if necessary.

Cause/remedy
Attach the drain hose correctly or replace it.

Tighten the threaded joint on the supply hose.
■
For some programs (e.g. Cottons), there is a specific load detection step once
the program is started. This takes approx. 1 minute. The appliance adjusts the
amount of water depending on the size of the load. Water is then supplied to the
drum. The pause function can then be activated.
