Operation
Making nut waffles/patterned waffles
1) Select the "nut waffles" or "patterned waffles" removable plates and insert
them. Always ensure that you insert the top removable plate in the top half
of the appliance and the bottom removable plate in the bottom half.
CAUTION – PROPERTY DAMAGE!
► Never use two different removable plates at the same time.
2) Close the lid and lock it with the lid locking device
3) Insert the plug into a mains power socket. The orange "Power" indicator
lamp
4) As soon as the appliance has heated up, the green "Ready" indicator
lamp
5) Undo the lid locking device

waffles) into each of the moulds/patterns in the bottom removable plates.
NOTE
► When using patterned waffles, ensure that the batter has been distributed
across all parts of the pattern. Otherwise, parts of the pattern may sub-
sequently be missing.
6) Close the lid and lock it with the lid locking device
CAUTION – PROPERTY DAMAGE!
► To avoid damaging the non-stick coating of the nut waffles/patterned
waffles, always remove your waffles with a plastic or wooden spoon or
some other suitable, non-metallic implement.
7) The nut waffles/patterned waffles are ready after about 3 - 4 minutes.
Undo the lid locking device

8) If you have finished preparing your nut waffles/patterned waffles, please
disconnect the mains plug from the mains socket.
9) Allow the nut waffles/patterned waffles to cool down a little and trim any
excess from the edge of the nut waffles/patterned waffles with a knife.
