Solution
•
Make sure that GPS is switched on in HotTab.
•
Make sure that the GPS receiver and location sensor have
been enabled in the control panel.
•
The tablet may be outside the reception range. Move the
tablet into the open or closer to a window.
•
Check whether microwave ovens, cordless phones, or
similar devices are causing interference in your vicinity.
Move the tablet away from interference-causing devices.
•
Adjust the volume on the tablet by pressing the volume
rocker.
•
When using an external audio device, make sure that the
cable has been connected correctly.
•
Make sure that the VGA driver is installed.
•
Make sure that the selected output setting is correct.
•
Make sure that the barcode reader has been switched on
in the HotTab service program.
•
Change the distance between the barcode reader of the
device and the barcode to be scanned.
•
Make sure that the barcode type has been enabled on
the tablet. To learn how to enable or disable a specific
barcode type, read the "Configuration of the barcode
reader" section.
•
When the GPS function is used, we recommend disabling
the barcode reader in HotTab to reduce interference.
•
The lithium battery used in this tablet can swell after
many charges/discharges, but this does not pose a safety
problem.
•
Continued use in this state may lead to the battery be-
coming jammed. For this reason, you should no longer
use the battery and purchase a new one.
