Notes on battery operation

Risk of personal injury or damage to property due to improper handling of the battery
A battery can cause burns, it can explode or release toxic substances.
Do not open or damage the battery. Do not expose battery to heat or fire. Keep the battery
away from children.
Danger of damage to the device or destruction of the battery
Only use the supplied battery or an original spare part.
Risk of damage to the device by foreign objects
Always transport the device with the battery plugged-in. This prevents any foreign objects
(e.g. paper clips) from entering the device through openings.
Risk of damage to the device caused by unprotected transport
Do not transport the battery unprotected in your bag, briefcase or any other container
because any metal objects in these carriers (e.g. car keys) may short-circuit the battery
terminals. This may damage the battery or cause a fire.
Risk of damage to the device caused by water or splashing water
The battery is not waterproof! Never submerge the battery in water and protect it from
splashing water (rain, seawater).
Risk in case device is not fully sealed
If the battery is leaky, avoid contact of the liquid with your skin, mucous membranes (eyes,
mouth) or food and do not inhale any fumes. Use plenty of water and soap to clean any
body parts that may have come into contact with the liquid.
Risk of damage to the device caused by pressure
Do not apply any pressure on the battery, do not drop it, do not damage it, and do not
introduce any foreign objects.
