Location and Function of Parts
3 CC (color temperature conversion) filter control
Used to select a filter appropriate for the light source
illuminating the subject, when the FILTER LOCAL
button 4 is lit.

4 FILTER LOCAL button
When this button is pressed while the FILTER
LOCAL switch 5 is held in its upper position, the
button will light and filter selection will be controlled
by the HKCA-700 CC filter and ND filter controls.
When this button is pressed again while the FILTER
LOCAL switch 5 is held in its upper position, the
button will go off and filter selection control will be
returned to the master setup unit or remote control
panel.
5 FILTER LOCAL switch
When the FILTER LOCAL button 4 is pressed while
this switch is held in its upper position, the button will
light and filter selection will be controlled by the CC
filter and ND filter controls. When the FILTER
LOCAL button 4 is pressed again while this switch is
held in its upper position, the button will go out and
filter selection control will be returned to the master
setup unit or remote control panel.
6 SAFETY ZONE switch
ON: A frame marking 90% of the picture area (the
safety zone) will be displayed on the viewfinder
screen. The size of the safety zone may be
selected using the menus.
OFF: The safety zone will not be displayed.
7 DISPLAY switch
Used to display on the viewfinder screen status
messages such as switch settings or items and results
for automatic adjustment.
MENU: Changes status display page
ON: Turns on status display
OFF: Turns off status display

8 VF SCAN (viewfinder scan) switch
Switches the viewfinder screen display between 16:9
and 4:3 aspect ratios.
9 CENTER MARKER switch
ON: A white cross (the center marker) indicating the
center of the picture area will be displayed on
the viewfinder screen.
OFF: The center marker will not be displayed.
!º 4:3 MARKER control
When the 4:3 MARKER switch is set to
the luminance of the areas outside the 4:3 aspect ratio
area.
!¡ 4:3 MARKER switch
: Areas outside the 4:3 aspect ratio area will be
darkened.
: The 4:3 marker (white lines) will be displayed.
OFF: The 4:3 marker will not be displayed.
!™ MENU SELECT control
Used to select menu items displayed on the viewfinder
screen.
!£ MENU SELECT switch
Used to confirm (ENTER) or cancel (CANCEL) menu
item settings displayed on the viewfinder screen.
!¢ INCOM 1 connector (XLR 4-pin, male)
Used for input and output of intercom audio signals.
!∞ INCOM 2 connector (XLR 3-pin, female)
Used for input and output of intercom audio signals.
Supports CLEARCOM.
!§ DC OUT (DC power supply output) connector
(XLR 4-pin, female)
Used to supply DC power to the camera via the
supplied cable.
