1 VF connector (D-sub 25-pin)
Connect to the viewfinder's CAMERA connector.
2 TEST OUT connector (BNC type)
Connect to a monitor or VTR as necessary. The output
will be the signal (Y, R, G, or B) selected using the
video selection buttons on the rear panel. When R is
selected, the output will be the most recently selected
return video signal.
3 PROMPTER connector (BNC type)
Outputs the prompter signal input to the HDCU's
PROMPTER INPUT connector.
4 DC IN (DC power supply input) connector (4-
pin)
Connect to a DC power supply (11.5 to 17 V) when
using the HKCA-700 without receiving power from
the HDCU.
5 Cable clamp
The supplied cable clamp straps may be attached to
secure cables. Works with cables between 8 and 15
mm in diameter.
6 Lock lever
Secures the supplied tripod attachment to keep it from
sliding.
7 Lock ring
Secures the supplied tripod attachment.
8 Height adjustment ring
Used to match the camera to the lens height.
9 Camera attachment ring
Used when mounting the supplied tripod attachment.
