CHAPTER 5 TROUBLESHOOTING
2) Without placing any original on the
original tray, press the push switch
(SW3) on the DADF controller PCB.
• LED1 and LED2 on the DADF control-
ler PCB turn on.
• If LED1 and LED 2 do not turn on 30
sec or later, the following is true:
LED1: the original tray paper sensor
(S1) is faulty.
LED2: the registration sensor (S3) or
the DADF controller PCB is faulty.
3) After making sure that LED1 and LED2
have turned on, press the push switch
(SW3) on the DADF controller PCB.
• The two LEDs will turn off to end ad-
justment.
4) Shift the bits of the DIP switch (DSW1)
on the DADF controller PCB back to
their initial positions.
