5-4. Registering Reference Files
This file can be stored and read using the setting menu or the Remote Control Panel of MSU-700, etc.
Only one file can be stored, and will be stored in the camera and setup card.
The item which can be stored is indicated with
or
in "Reference" of "File Store" column in Section
5-8. File Items.
means that the values stored will continue to be displayed even after they have been
stored.
indicates items which will be displayed as 0. For items indicated with set values, these values
will be stored as the fixed values. For items indicated with -, their values cannot be changed by storing or
reading.
For reference files, differential data taking the factory-set as 0 will be stored. Therefore, initializing the
(*1)
reference file to 0, sets the same status as that at factory-set.
Using the setting menu, all items or
specified items can be initialized to 0.
Reference files can be copied between cameras using the setup card.
(*1) : If lens files or ND offsets have been created, those need to be initialized as well.
Storing Using the Setting Menu (Step 1 of Fig.5-3.)
Set the setting menus as follows.
[FILE] → [REFERENCE|FILE] → [STORE|FILE]
The data will be stored in the camera and the numerical data will be displayed as 0. (Excluding some
items. Refer to Section 5-8. File Items.) If PROTECT of the setup card is set to OFF, the data will also be
stored in the setup card at the same time.
Storing by MSU-700 (Step 1 of Fig.5-3.)
Set the MODE switch to FILE and select [REFERENCE] → [REF|STORE]. The data will be stored
in the camera and the numerical data will be displayed as 0. (Excluding some items. Refer to Section 5-8.
File Items.) If PROTECT of the setup card is set to OFF, the data will also be stored in the setup card at
the same time.
Calling from Setting Menus (Step 2 of Fig. 5-3), (Refer to Fig. 5-1.)
Set the setting menus as follows.
[PAINT] → [SCENE|FILE] → [STANDARD]
The temporary paint amount and scene file amount will be cleared and the reference file items will be
reset to the state stored in.
Reading from Remote Control Panel of MSU-700, Etc. (Step 2 of Fig. 5-3.)
Press the "STANDARD" switch. Reset the reference file to the state stored in.
