4-1. Setup Menu
Switches
VF DISP switch
ON
: Displays characters and messages indicating the
settings and operating status of the unit on the
viewfinder screen.
OFF
: Turns off all the displays on the viewfinder
screen.
MENU : Displays the setup menu on the viewfinder screen.
MIC/MENU knob
Selects the items displayed on the viewfinder screen and
changes settings.
MENU switch
CANCEL : Cancels the menu setting mode and returns to
the page selection mode or TOP menu.

The TOP menu screen displays all the menu items. To
display the TOP menu, turn the VF DISP switch from OFF
to MENU while pressing the MIC/MENU knob.
Basic Operations
1. Displaying the menu
To display the Operation menu, set the VF DISP switch to MENU.
To display the other menus, first turn the VF DISP switch from OFF to MENU while pressing the
MIC/MENU knob, and obtain the TOP menu screen. Rotate the MIC/MENU knob, select the menu
to be displayed, and press the MIC/MENU knob.
2. To change pages, rotate the MIC/MENU knob with the scroll bar displayed at the top right. (When
the MIC/MENU knob is pressed, the mode is set to the item selection, and the scroll bar disappears.)
3. To change items, rotate the MIC/MENU knob. (Pressing the MIC/MENU knob finalizes the setting.)
4. To change the setting values, rotate the MIC/MENU knob. (Rotating it fast makes the value change
fast, and rotating it slowly makes the value change slowly.)
Pressing the MIC/MENU knob finalizes the setting.
5. Each time the MENU switch is pressed to the CANCEL side, the screen returns to the item selection
mode and page selection mode.
6. To delete the menu displayed, set the VF DISP switch to OFF.
