Symptom
• LED 1 and LEDs 3-6 are unlit while LED 2
is lit.
• LED 1 blinks twice in succession, LED 2
is lit, and LEDs 3-6 are unlit.
• LEDs 1 and 3 blink twice in succession,
LED 2 is lit, and LEDs 4-6 are unlit.
• LEDs 1 and 2 are lit, LEDs 3 and 4 blink
twice in succession, and LEDs 5 and 6 are
unlit.
• LEDs 1, 2 and 4 are lit, LEDs 3 and 5 blink
twice in succession, and LED 6 is unlit.
• LEDs 1-5 are lit, and LED 6 blinks twice in
succession.

LED Indication
• Check soldering of IC8610 (PE9017).
• Check soldering at IC8611 (XC2S50-5PQ208C).
• Check if a clock waveform signal from the 18.432-MHz clock
can be observed at TP8640 (soldered part) or TP8609
(checker chip).
• Check soldering at IC8616 (TC74LCX32FT, Side B).
• Check soldering at X8602 (VSS1194, crystal, Side B).
No connection with the AVIB using FFC cables, incorrect
FFC-cable connection, defective FFC cables, etc.
• Check the FFC-cable connection to CN8602.
• Check soldering at Pins 3 and 29 of CN8602.
• Check soldering at Pins 80, 178, and 182 of IC8611
(XC2S50-5PQ208C).
• Check if a clock waveform signal from the 27-MHz clock can
be observed at TP8608 (checker chip).
• Check soldering at IC8609 (TC74LCX541FT, Side B).
• Check soldering at IC8606 (BU2288FV, Side B).
• Check the FFC-cable connection to CN8602.
• Check soldering at Pins 6, 7, 8, 11, 13, 15, 17, 19, 21, 23,
and 25 of CN8602.
• Check soldering at Pins 160-167 and 192-194 of IC8611
(XC2S50-5PQ208C).
• Check soldering at Pins 20-43 of IC8611 (XC2S50-5PQ208C).
• Check soldering at IC8614 (AK4103AVF).
• Check soldering at Pins 44-112 and 123-136 of IC8611
(XC2S50-5PQ208C).
• Check soldering at IC8613 (GS9023A).
• Check if a clock waveform signal from the 36.864-MHz clock
can be observed at TP8607 (checker chip).
• Check soldering at IC8605 (TC74LCX32FT, Side B).
• Check soldering at IC8609 (TC74LCX541FT, Side B).
• Check soldering at IC8606 (BU2288FV, Side B).
• Check soldering at Pins 113-122 of IC8611
(XC2S50-5PQ208C).
• Check soldering at IC8617 (GS7032).
• Check soldering at IC8609 (TC74LCX541FT, Side B).
