3. Place flare nuts on both ends of p pe. Make sure they are fac ng n the r ght d rect on, because you
can't put them on or change the r d rect on after flar ng. See F g. 7.3.
4. Remove PVC tape from ends of p pe when ready to perform flar ng work.
5. Clamp flare form on the end of the p pe. The end of the p pe must extend beyond the edge of the
flare form n accordance w th the d mens ons shown n the table below.
