Power failure or shift disengagement failure
warning.
In case of power failure or shift disengagement
failure on either of the two outboards;
The buzzers for both of the outboards
should sound.
Speeds of the two engines should be
reduced to about 2000 rpm.
The warning outboard will not shift though
the remote control levers can be moved.
NOTE:
No visual warning is provided.
In case the power failure or shift disengage-
ment failure has occurred on either of the two
outboards, perform the following steps.
1.
Turn the main switch for each outboard to
OFF.
2.
Check battery terminal for looseness and
disconnection on the warning outboard. If
the fuse has been burned out, replace it
referring to your outboard motor owner's
manual.
3.
Check sensor wire terminal for looseness
and disconnection on the warning out-
board.
4.
Turn the main switch for the warning out-
board to ON and check that the outboard
shifts into neutral.
5.
If the outboard shifts, the cruising can be
continued.
