Step 7 Switch on the standby power supply to the fire alarm control panel.
Step 8 Check that the new batteries are working properly.
If the BATTERY FAULT indicator on the fire alarm control panel is off, the batteries are working
properly.

Dispose of the removed fire alarm control panel batteries that are confirmed
faulty.

4.4.11 Replacing a Fire Cylinder

Prerequisites
A spare fire cylinder of the same model is available and functional.
Impact on the System
The fire extinguishing system stops working during the replacement.
Prerequisites
Tools: pallet truck, Phillips screwdriver, protective gloves, adjustable wrench
Materials: spare fire cylinder, sealing tape
Document: fire extinguishing device layout diagram (standard)
Skill requirement: fire engineer
