Cable connection examples show as below.
• Below figure shows an example of cable connection using the RS-232C/RS-485
converter (ADP-6237B).
• Use shielded twisted-pair cable for data communication suited to RS-485 standard.
The cable shield should be connected to single -point ground.

• On the S2, removable terminal block is provided for cable connection.
• Short between RXA and TERM for termination at both the S2 and the
ADP-6237B.
• If the master has RS-485 (or RS-422) interface and the CPU is connected to the
master directly, connect termination resistor 1/2 W - 120 Ω between RXA and RXB at
the master end.
