Basic procedure for mounting/removing the modules

There are three types of module, 1-slot width module such as the S2 CPU and direct I/
Os, 2-slot width module and narrow width module such as the expansion interface.
Basically each module is similar structure and similar handling except some special
modules.
The modules are fixed to the base with both upper/lower lock levers and mounting
screws.
Turn power OFF before installing and removing modules.

Procedure for mounting

(1) Turn off power of the model 2000 and external power supplied to I/O modules.
(2) Install the bases on the panel.
(Refer to 4.2 Installing bases.)
(3) Check the mounting position of modules according to "Unit Configuration" in 1.1.3
Unit configuration, 1.2.3 Unit Configuration and 1.3.3 Unit Configuration, and mount
modules at correct position.
Space module: Mount it on all empty slots not mounted modules.
Unit cover:
Mount it at the leftmost side of the unit if the expansion interface is
not used.

(4) Put the module along
the top / bottom leads
of base.
