Community Name
Enters a community name set with SNMP Manager which monitors e-VTR. (Only the first 16 characters
are significant.)

. When the community names entered to the SNMP Manager and the e-VTR are not coincided, the
SNMP Manager cannot monitor the e-VTR correctly.
. To request writing of MIB from SNMP Manager, entering community name in the "Read-Write
Community" is required.

Communication Hosts
Assigns the SNMP Manager that communicates with the e-VTR using SNMP.
any:
Receives the access from any SNMP Managers.
none:
Rejects the access from any SNMP Managers.
When not monitoring with SNMP Manager, the access from all the SNMP is
blocked by selecting "none".
specific:
Receives the access from the specific SNMP Manager.
IP Address 1, 2:
When selecting "specific", enter the IP address of SNMP Manager which
communicates with e-VTR using SNMP.
Trap Hosts
Assigns SNMP Manager as trap receiver.

To send the trap notification using SONY-PRO-MIB from e-VTR, select "specific" and specify the IP
Address of the SNMP Manager.
none:
Not sents trap to any SNMP Manager.
specific:
Sends the trap to the specific SNMP Manager.
IP Address 1 to 4: When selecting "specific", enter the IP address of SNMP Manager as trap
receiver.
Authentication Trap
Selects whether e-VTR sends trap notification or not when e-VTR is accessed from unauthorized SNMP
Manager (unknown community name).

It is recommended to set "on" to detect an unauthorized access to e-VTR by SNMP manager.
on:
Sends the AuthenticationFailure Trap. (Default setting)
off:
Not sends the AuthenticationFailure Trap.
BKMW-E3000
The name of the Read-only Community (Default setting is "public".)
The name of the Read-Write Community (Other community name than
Read-only Community name should be entered because write access to
MIB object is enabled.)
Adds to the trap which sends from e-VTR. (Default setting is "public".)
