When multiple
connection environments
exist, multiple Local Area
Connection icons are
displayed.
Locate the icon that
appears as, "Sony PCWA-
C100 Wireless PC Card,"
and double-click it.

To verify the current network
components

From the Start menu, select Settings, Network,
then Dial-up Connections.
The Network and Dial-up Connections window
appears.

Double-click the Local Area Connection icon.
The Local Area Connection Properties dialog box
appears.
Confirm that the following network components
are displayed in the component list.
– NetBEUI Protocol
– Internet Protocol (TCP/IP)
– Client for Microsoft Networks
– File and Printer Sharing for Microsoft Networks
If everything is displayed, click Close and proceed
to "To verify the computer name and workgroup"
on page 45.
If any of these components are missing, you must
add each component individually.
