NC/PLC interface signals (only SINUMERIK 840D sl)
The following NC/PLC interface signals can be defined in section [General]:
● Interface signal PLC → NC: "PLC commissioning completed"
Entry: PLCCommCompleteBit=<DBxy.DBXy.z>
● Interface signal NC → PLC: "Acceptance test was started"
Entry: WizardRunningPLCBit=<DBxy.DBXy.z>
Note
The interface signal is not reset in the following situations:
● When the user interface software crashes, e.g. SINUMERIK Operate.
● When the operating system crashes, under which the user interface software is running,
● If the user interface, e.g. SINUMERIK Operate, is connected with several NCs – using
Test-type specific settings
In the section available for each test type (see Table below "Test-type-specific sections"), a
user-specific string can be specified, which when executing a test of this type, is displayed in
the acceptance test or is entered in the certificate and the customized template.
Entry: TestName=
Parameter %<x>, e.g. %1 for the name of the axis selected for the test case, can be included
in the string. The possible parameters are specified in the relevant section.
When displaying the string in the acceptance test, the parameter is replaced by the actual
value at the instant that the test is being performed.
The string must be specified without quotation marks.
Example
The following data are entered in the test case:
● Name of the test case: "Open the door"
● The selected axis
● The number of the test case
