11.2

Checking the vacuum pump function

1. Connect the power cable to the mains supply.
2. Switch on the ACS 751/651 in the debug mode.
3. Select "Actuators" and press E.
4. Select VISO and VC.
5. Observe the value of PSV for one minute.

If the value of the pressure reaches 120 mbar or
lesser, the vacuum pump is

12.1

Replacing the compressor

Fig. 32:
Compressor
1. Switch off the ACS 751/651.
2. Disconnect the mains connection.
3. Open the rear and left panel (Chap. 6.3, 6.5).
4. Close the red and blue knobs on the refrigerant cylinder.
5. Disconnect the inlet hose and the oil return hose
from the compressor.
6. Disconnect the discharge pipe from the compressor.
Remove only the knurled pipe so that the pipe does
not get twisted..
7. Undo all the electrical connections to the compressor.
8. Open the four mounting bolts of the compressor base
plate to the chassis.
9. Take out the compressor with the base plate from
the opening on the left.

Do not tilt the compressor as it may result in oil spill-
age.
10. Remove the screws from the compressor plate and
separate the compressor from the base plate.
11. Place the new compressor in position on the base
plate and fasten with the mounting screws.

While restoring the compressor connections, apply a
thin layer of Loctite 577 to the screw thread
12. Place the compressor assembly on the chassis and
fix the base plate of the compressor to the chassis.
13. Connect the inlet hose and the oil return hose to
the compressor.
14. Connect the discharge pipe to the compressor
