Chapter 6 Maintenance and Inspection
6.1.2

Periodical inspection

Check the following items regularly (about once every 6 months). Also, check
them when the ambient condition or environment changes.
Item
Power Module
Measure the voltage of power. (Measure at power module
terminal)
Check for looseness of the terminal screws.
Check for damage of the wiring cable.
Installation state Check if the basic unit is secured.
Check if the expansion unit is secured.
Check if the each module is secured.
Check for looseness and damage of the expansion cable. No looseness or damage
I/O Module
Check the input state display LED.
Check the output state display LED.
Check if the I/O terminal block is secured.
Check for looseness of the terminal screws.
Check for damage of the wiring cable.
GA932 Module
Check the state display LED.
Maintenance switch
Ambient
Check if the temperature, humidity, vibration, dusts is
environment
within specified values.

Be extremely careful when measuring the

power supply voltage at the power terminal
part of the module during an inspection.
Otherwise, it may cause an electric shock.
Do not modify, repair, disassemble, or

adjust the device, module, or board.
