5.2 Overview of Operator Elements and Display Elements
Function
Navigational aid
The footer of the display shows you the authorized navigation directions
depending on current display level.
Selection dialogs:
In selection dialogs you are offered selection options one below the other.
Example parameter Mode (Off/On/Test).

Top
–
Select top entry
Automatic line break from the first to the last entry

Bottom
–
Select bottom entry
Automatic line break from the last to the first entry
Numerical input dialog:
In a numerical command prompt (for example, confirmation ID) the cursor
appears right-aligned.

Left
–
Backspace key which puts the cursor back by one position. You
must re-enter all skipped places by using the numerical keys.
Contrast setting:
The contrast setting is done only via the navigation keys.

Restoring default setting
Softkeys
The softkeys are located on the left and right below the display. They are
used to confirm command prompts in the display. Context-sensitive actions
can always be triggered with the softkeys.
