After Service
If the warning light (LED) lights and a
"pi——" sustained buzzer sounds
even after charging the battery, there
may be a malfunction in an electrical
device.
1. Check whether the malfunction is on the
Cir-clip
2. Contact the Yamaha Service Center or the

Procedure:
1) Detachable Type
Loosen the stop screw of the plate as-
sembly using a 2mm hexagon wrench.
Remove the plate assembly by turning it
to the left.
When doing this, stop the wheel spinning
by inserting a minus screwdriver in the
other end of the inner axle.
Fixed Type
Remove the cap by loosening it with a
minus screwdriver (large) or a coin.
2) The rear wheel caps can be removed by
hand after removing the cir-clip with the
minus driver. Remove them from the
claw portion, one at a time.
3) If the LED is blinking behind the hub
when turning the power switch on after
setting the battery in place, there is a
malfunction in the electrical system on
that side of the wheel.
