You can check and fix the sound issue on your Commax CDV-70P by following these steps:

1. Check the Chime-Bell Mute Setting:
- Enter the UTILITY menu from configuration mode.
- Select CHIME-BELL MUTE using the △▽ buttons.
- Press SELECT and adjust the volume using the △▽ buttons.
- Ensure the bell is set to ON and confirm by pressing SELECT.

2. Verify Connection and Wiring:
- Ensure the door camera and interphone wiring (4 wires, polarity) are correctly connected.
- Check for any loose or damaged wires.

3. Power Cycle the Device:
- Turn off the power, wait a few minutes, and turn it back on.

4. Monitor Call Sound:
- The door chime should be Sol Mi Do, and the interphone beep should be audible.

If the issue persists, contact customer service for further assistance.
