Intelligent Orientation Control (IOC)
IOC allows the pilot to lock the orientation of aircraft in different fashions. It has three working modes you
can choose from in the DJI GO app. IOC only works in F-Mode, and you must toggle the S1 switch to the
F-Mode (lowest position) to activate IOC. The three work modes are:
Course Lock (CL)
Home Lock (HL)*
Point of Interest (POI)*
*The Home Lock and Point of Interest modes are due for release soon.

IOC will only work under the following conditions:

Course Lock
Home Lock
POI
Enabling IOC
Launch the DJI GO app > Camera View >
controller, toggle the S1 Switch to the lowest position (F-Mode) to use IOC.

Lock the current nose direction as the aircraft's forward direction. The aircraft
will move in the locked directions regardless of its orientation (yaw angle). Tap
Reset IOC to reset the Course Lock.
Record a Home Point, and push the Pitch stick up/down to control the
distance of the aircraft from the Home Point.
Record a Point of Interest (POI). The aircraft's nose always points towards the
POI.
