Starting SmartRestore
Note:
The SmartRestore utility can only be run by users with Administrator rights.
Before starting SmartRestore, save your current work and close all running
applications, deactivate any screen saver and energy saving mode.
If you never deleted the backup partition, you are ready to proceed.
If you have deleted the backup partition and created Master CDs/DVDs for your
computer, please insert Master CD/DVD 1 into your optical disk drive.
To start SmartRestore from Windows Vista
Click Start, All programs, NEC Computers Utilities, SmartRestore.
From the Smart-
Restore main
screen, you will be
able to:
Uninstalling and Reinstalling Software Using SmartRestore
You may want to remove a program if:
You do not use it any longer.
You want to free up some space on your hard disk drive.
You may want to reinstall a program if:
It has been corrupted and does not work any longer, or if it keeps generating errors on the computer.
Uninstall and reinstall Software from the SmartRestore main screen as follows.

Run Recovery DVD Creator. Click the Create my Recovery DVD link.
