Formatting the Card

If the card isnew orwas previously f ormattedby anothercemera or
personalcomputer,formatthecard withthe camera.
Formatting the card will erase everything inthe card. Even
protected images wHI be erased, so make sure there is
nothing you need to keep. If necessary, ttansfer the images to
a personaU computer before formatting the card.
!_ Select [Format].
_ Under the [_?'] tab, select [Format],
then press <8>
_2, Format the card.
,_ Select [OK], then press <_>.
#_ The card will be formatted.
_ When the formatting is completed,
the menu will reappear
_ For low-level formatting, press the
<_i> button, checkmark [Low level
format] with <_>, then select [OK].
