Installing and Removing the Battery F_
Inatall_ng the Battery
Load a fully charged Battery Pack LPE5 into the camera.
4_ Open the battery compartment
cover.
Slide the lever as shown by the arrow
and open the cover.
'_ insert the battery.
Insert the end with the battery
contacts.
Insert the battery until it locks in
place
,_,_Ctose the cover,
4_ Press the cover until it snaps shut.
Removing the Battery
Open the cover and remove the
battery.
® Press the batter] lock lever as shown
by the arrow and remove the battery.
® To prevent shorting, be sure to attach
the protective cover to the battery.
@
After opening the battery compartridentcover, be careful not to swing it back
further. Otherwise, the hinge might break.
