The Powercom 1000A UPS may trip with a red indication after replacing the batteries due to several possible reasons:

1. Improper Battery Connection – Ensure that the batteries are well connected and securely attached to the terminals.
2. Low Battery Voltage – If the new batteries have a low charge, the UPS may not function correctly. Charge the batteries fully before use.
3. Internal Short Circuit or Overload – Check if there is any short circuit within the UPS or connected load. Remove all loads and restart the UPS.
4. Non-Fuse Switch Not Activated – Ensure that the non-fuse switch on the rear panel is turned on.
5. Fault Condition – If the fault light remains on and the buzzer keeps beeping, contact the dealer or service center for further assistance.

If the issue persists, verify that the replacement batteries are of the correct type and properly installed.
