3. Tools Required

The following list is a guide to what tools are required to comfortably
maintain powered powerchairs.
• Multimeter
• Set of metric allen keys
• Socket set (metric)
• Set of open end spanners from 3mm to 15mm
• Magnetic tipped screwdriver set
• Bondlock B270 / B220 thread locking compound
• Torque wrench – up to 25Nm rated
• Wire stripper
• Crimp tool and crimps
• Mole grips
• Rubber mallet
• Stanley knife
• Circlip pliers
• Pliers (long nose and combination)
• Tyre pump and pressure gauge
• Tape measure and metal rule
