Cleaning and care
Before cleaning
^ Switch off the appliance.
The display will go out and the
cooling system will switch off.
If this does not happen the safety
lock is active (see "Selecting further
settings - Activating or deactivating
the lock").
^ Disconnect the appliance from the
mains electricity supply.
^ Take any food out of the appliance
and store it in a cool place.
^ Take out all other removable parts for
cleaning.
Adjustable shelves / Adjustable
shelves with LED lighting
The stainless steel trim with LED
lighting or the stainless steel trim on
the adjustable shelves is not
suitable for cleaning in a
dishwasher.
The stainless steel trim with LED
lighting must not be placed in water
when cleaning it.
To remove the stainless steel trim with
LED lighting or the stainless steel trim
at the front and the protective strip at
the back of the shelf, proceed as
follows:
^ Place the shelf with the top facing
downwards on a worktop covered
with a soft material (e.g. a tea towel).
^ Grasp the plastic surround on the
left-hand side of the stainless steel
trim at its furthest back point.

1. Pull the plastic surround away from
the shelf and 2. pull the trim off at the
same time. Then do the same on the
opposite side.
^ 3. Pull the protective strip off the
back of the shelf.
^ After cleaning the shelf, attach the
stainless steel trim and protective
strip in the reverse order.
