Position the HORIZON so the back is facing you. The controls and connectors on the back of
the computer are labelled in Figure 2-1.

Connect the HORIZON and the terminal before you attach the power cord to the
computer.
Make sure that the power to the terminal is turned off and the power cord is unplugged
from the wall socket.
Theterminal is connected to the HORIZON
by an RS-232 cord or cable. The cord or
cable must end in a "D" shaped connector,
as shown in Figure 2-2.
