When a 240 cable is connected to motorhome the power does not feed into the motorhome

The power might not feed into the Burstner motorhome when a 240V cable is connected due to the following possible reasons:

1. Circuit Breaker Issue: The circuit breaker tab on the cable adapter may have flipped during transit. This would prevent power flow. Flip the tab back into place and switch the power back on.

2. Building Fuse Box: The circuit breaker for the socket in the building might have been triggered. Check the fuse box inside the building and reset the breaker if necessary.

3. Power Supply Connection: Ensure the cable adapter is properly plugged into the power supply output socket and the power supply is switched on.

If these steps are followed and there’s still no power, further troubleshooting might be needed.

In the Burstner Elegance 660i motorhome, the leisure battery location is not explicitly stated in the provided context. However, based on common layouts and discussions, it is likely located in a compartment either under one of the seats inside the motorhome or in an external storage hatch. For exact location, checking under seating areas or in exterior lockers is recommended.

You may be able to find a 2002 Burstner motorhome manual in English by checking if it was originally supplied with the vehicle, as some Burstner models came with a comprehensive manual and separate manuals for accessories. If not available with the vehicle, try contacting Burstner directly or searching online forums where owners share manuals.

My floor lights want switch off I've disconnected wires but still on

The floor lights in your Burstner motorhome may stay on even after disconnecting the wires due to residual power from the battery or connection to a 230V power supply. If the vehicle is connected to mains power, the transformer/rectifier can still supply power, even with battery separation activated. Also, if the battery separation is not properly activated, 12V appliances may still receive power.
