Connect the Battery
The positive battery cable has been
connected at the factory, but the
negative cable must be connected.
Note: Make sure the ignition switch is
in the "OFF" position before attaching
the battery cables.

Your lawn mower was built to be operated according to the
rules for safe operation in this manual. As with any type of power
equipment, carelessness or error on the part of the operator can result in
serious injury. This lawn mower is capable of amputating hands and feet
and throwing objects. Failure to observe the following safety instructions
could result in serious injury or death.

the dash panel by lifting upward on
the baffle locking tab on each side.
• Remove the protective cap from the
negative terminal of the battery.
• Connect the black battery cable to
the negative battery post. Slide
terminal cover over the connection
and reinstall the upper baffle.
