Troubleshooting

Problem
Machine will not produce fog
when remote control Fog
button pressed
Machine continues to
produce fog when Fog
button is not pressed
Machine can be fired from
the remote control, but not
by DMX controller
Smoke output is weak
Wet, greasy, non-uniform
smoke output, fluid drips or
spits from nozzles, or very
loud noise when firing
machine
Machine appears dead
Probable cause(s)
Machine not at operating
temperature
Machine not powered up or
heaters disabled
Output level control set to
zero
Timer is engaged
DMX address setting
incorrect
Poor connection in DMX line
Machine requires priming
Incompatible smoke fluid
Mains fuse blown
No power at AC cable inlet
Troubleshooting
Suggested remedy
Wait 10 to 15 minutes
Ensure mains power switch
on, enable heaters by
pressing FOG
Increase setting
Disengage the timer by
pressing the FOG/TIMER
ENGAGE button briefly
Change DMX address (page
12)
Check DMX cables and
connections
Prime machine (page 10)
Use only approved fluid!
Replace fuse (page 14)
Check power cable and
circuit breaker
