2. Grasp battery pack firmly and pull from the DCB091 USB power
source. Insert battery into the charger as described in the charger
section of this manual.

FUEL GAUGE

When the battery is inserted into the DCB091 USB power source, the
LED will flash briefly, then the number of lights will illuminate for ten
seconds based on the state of charge of the battery pack.
The fuel gauge (H) is an indication of approximate levels of charge
remaining in the battery pack according to the following indicators:
75 –100% charged
50 – 75% charged
0 – 50% charged
Power Button (Fig. 2)
The power button (B) is located on the inside, upper left side of the
heated jacket.
To turn on the heated jacket, press and hold the power button (B) one
to two seconds. When jacket is turned on, it will immediately go into
preheat mode (blinking red LED light) for approximately 5 minutes and
then switch to the MEDIUM mode (solid white light). Each time the
power button is pressed it will cycle through these modes:
HIGH heat – red LED light
MEDIUM heat – white LED light
LOW HEAT – blue LED light
To turn off the heated jacket, press and hold the power button (B) one
to two seconds until the power button LED light turns off.
NOTE: If the heated jacket turns off unexpectedly ensure battery
pack is charged and all connections are secure.
USB Charging Ports (Fig. 2)
The DCB091 USB power source (C) is equipped with two USB
Type A charging ports (G). The DCB091 USB power source delivers
1.5 amps total current.
NOTE: Do not plug in devices that exceed the output ratings
on the power source's label. Doing so will shorten the power
source's useful life.
Insert a USB plug into one of the charging ports (G) to supply power
or charge your device when battery is installed.
CLEANING
WARNING: To reduce the risk of personal injury or damage to
the heated jacket ALWAYS disconnect the power jack from the
DCB091 USB power source and remove the battery pack and
DCB091 USB power source from the battery/power source
pocket before performing any maintenance or hand washing.
Follow the CARE label attached to the heated jacket.
WARNING: DO NOT machine wash or machine dry even if
the machine has a hand wash or equivalent cycle. Burning or
fire may result.
NOTICE:
• HAND WASH, HANG DRY, DO NOT WRING.
• Use a commercial liquid soap product. Do not use fabric
softeners, biological powders or strong detergents.
• DO NOT dry clean. DO NOT use bleach. Cleaning
solvents may damage or lessen the effect of the jacket's
insulated heating element.
• DO NOT iron or press.
