Basic manual recording

Normal recording using manual operation is described
below. Before you start recording, check the settings of
"HDD REPEAT REC MAIN" and "HDD REPEAT REC SUB"
in the <HDD SETTINGS> screen, and then set the
recording settings.
Settings here are for normal recording only. For
timer recording, settings must be made on the
<TIMER PROGRAM SETTINGS> screen.
When you set "SHORT," "MEDIUM," or "LONG"
in the PRE ALARM REC, normal recording cannot
be performed. Set the PRE ALARM REC to "OFF"
to perform normal recording or alarm recording.
When you set "SHORT," "MEDIUM," or "LONG"
in the PRE ALARM REC, it is recommended not to
change the settings in ALARM REC DURATION and
RECORD SETTING. If you change these settings,
the recording may be performed in the previous
settings depending on the timing of the recording.
When you want to change the settings in ALARM
REC DURATION and RECORD SETTING while
setting the PRE ALARM REC to "SHORT,"
"MEDIUM," or "LONG," set PRE ALARM REC to
"OFF" first.
When you set "A-PPS" in the <RECORD
SETTING> screen to "- - - -" for all the cameras, pre-
alarm recording is not performed even if PRE ALARM
REC is set to "SHORT," "MEDIUM," or "LONG." In
this case, normal recording is performed at the
interval which is set in "PPS."
Setting the recording interval and recording
