Playing a DVD-Video
Using hands-free phoning
You can play a DVD-Video using the built-in
drive of this product.

Starting procedure

1 Insert a disc to be played.
Ü For details, refer to Inserting and ejecting a
disc on page 9.
2 Press the Home button to display the
Home screen.
Ü For details, refer to Home screen on page
14.
3 Tap [Disc] on the Home screen.
The playback automatically starts.
4 Use the touch panel keys on the screen
to control the disc.

 Play time
Shows the elapsed time, remaining time
and time bar of the current video.
2 Current time
3 Sampling indicator
4 Digital sound format indicator
Shows which digital sound format (sur-
round sound format) has been selected.
5 Audio channel indicator
Shows the current audio channel type,
such as "Mch" (Multi-channel).
6 Title/Chapter number indicator
Shows the title number and chapter num-
ber currently playing.
7 Status
• STOP
Appears while playback stops.
• Disc Menu
Appears while the disc menu is displayed.
• Different Region Disc
Appears while a different region disc is
inserted.
• Auto Play On/Auto Play Off
Appears while auto play is turned on/off.
8 Pause indicator/Speed indicator
Appears the pause indicator while pausing
video or frame-by-frame playing.
Also appears the speed indicator while
fast-forwarding/reversing video or slow
motion playing.
