You can set the system, so that it switches automaticaIIy from day mode to night.
Enter the time using the 12-hour system followed by 1 for AM. or 2 for P.M.:

TRANSFER ON-HOOK (AUTOMATIC)
An incoming call can be transferred to another extension by entering the &en-
sion number and replacing the receiver. The extension at the other end receives
an incoming call tone.
