To fix the microphone issue on your Plantronics Voyager Legend headset when it shows as "connected music" on your laptop, follow these steps:

1. Check Bluetooth Connection – Ensure the headset is properly connected to your laptop via Bluetooth and within the effective range (10 meters).
2. Set Default Recording Device – Go to your laptop’s sound settings and set the Voyager Legend as the default input (microphone) device.
3. Power Cycle the Headset – Turn the headset off and then back on to reset connectivity.
4. Update Firmware – Use the MyHeadset™ Updater tool from Plantronics to update the headset firmware.
5. Reset the Headset – If issues persist, reset the headset by holding down the power button for a few seconds until it turns off, then turn it back on.

Following these steps should resolve the issue.

Yes, the Plantronics Voyager Legend has Multipoint Technology, which allows it to pair and connect with two Bluetooth devices at the same time. However, it cannot be used with both devices simultaneously; it enables answering calls from either device.
