    Vodafone | snom 821 User Guide Transferring a call There are two ways in which you can transfer a ‘live’ call to a third party (which includes On Net, Off Net, National, International, though of course these could incur call charges).

    Vodafone | snom 821 User Guide Display layout The default display screen shows the ‘active identity’, which generally means the user’s (i.e. your) name and extension number. However, this can vary due to your company set up and requirements. The tick indicates that the phone is working correctly. If there’s no tick, contact your company administrator.

You can end the call by pressing the Cancel ‘cross’ key (particularly suitable if you’re using a headset), or by simply replacing the handset.

    Vodafone | snom 821 User Guide Receiving a call The identity of an incoming call is indicated in the top bar of the phone display, underneath the date. To answer the call: 1. If you’re using the handset, simply pick it up to answer the incoming call.

Transfer Key ‘Attended’ transfer allows you to introduce the call to the other party before handing it over.
