Text-to-Speech Output

Text-to-speech (TTS) provides audible readout of text, for example, the contents of text
messages and the Caller ID for incoming calls.
1. Press
2. Tap Text-to-speech output to configure options:
Preferred TTS engine: Select Samsung text-to-speech engine, or Google Text-to-
speech Engine. Tap
General:
Speech rate: Choose a rate for text readouts.
Listen to an example: Play an example of speech used for readouts.
Driving mode: When turned On, incoming calls and new notifications will be
read out automatically. Tap the ON/OFF switch to turn the option On or Off. Tap
Driving mode to choose the types of information to be read out.

Pointer Speed

Adjust the speed of the pointer, when you use your finger to enter text.
1. Press
2. Tap Pointer speed, and then drag the slider to set the pointer speed. Tap OK to save
your selection.

> Settings > Language and input.
