Following Your Route Follow the route to your destination using the map and the voice prompts. As you travel, your StreetPilot 2820 guides you to your destination with voice prompts, arrows, and directions along the top of the map. If you depart from the original route, your StreetPilot 2820 recalculates the route and provides new route instructions.
Recent Finds—find locations you have recently selected from the search result list. Understanding the Search Results Your StreetPilot 2820 sorts the search results list by distance from your current location; the closest locations are listed first. Touch the page to view all of the results.

The sky view shows the satellites you are receiving. The satellite signal strength bars indicate the strength of each satellite signal. A solid bar indicates your StreetPilot 2820 has a strong fix on that GPS satellite, and the GPS satellite is ready for use.

Adjusting the Track Log As you travel, the StreetPilot 2820 creates a bread crumb trail (track log) of your movement. From the Menu page, touch My Data Track Log > to modify the track log settings. Recording—turn off and on the track log recorder.

After you pair devices with the 2820, they automatically connect to the 2820 the next time you turn it on. If the devices do not automatically connect to the 2820, you can connect them manually (see the next page).
Using the Hands-Free Phone Features After your mobile phone with Bluetooth technology is paired with the StreetPilot 2820, you can use the StreetPilot 2820 to place and receive phone calls. From the Menu page, touch Phone. Use the Mobile Phone menu to place calls and review your call history.
IRELESS ECHNOLOGY Using Your Phone Book Each time your mobile phone pairs with the StreetPilot 2820, the phone book is automatically loaded into the StreetPilot. This way, each change you make to your mobile phone’s phone book is reflected the next time you use it with your StreetPilot.
