What is a PrintMe TM
Station?
The PrintMe TM Station connects to any existing
printer through the parallel port, the USB port, or to
any LAN. PrintMe TM does not require any special
software or a dedicated PC.
Each PrintMe TM Station has a unique e-mail
address and web URL that users can use to easi-
ly and securely submit print jobs to that printer.
The PrintMe TM station includes an integrated key-
pad, LCD display, and 10baseT Ethernet, as well
as IrDA, printer and USB ports. Just plug the
PrintMe TM Station into your LAN, connect a printer,
and enjoy a whole new world of mobile and
Internet printing.
How PrintMe TM Works
The PrintMe TM Station enables your printer to be
accessible over the Internet via the web and
e-mail. Users can use any Internet-connected
devices to print, including desktops, laptops, and
PDAs. They do not need any software, cables, or
drivers. They can print to the PrintMe TM enabled
printer from their room, the road, a meeting, or
anywhere else with Internet access.
• Via the web : Users simply go to www.Print
Me.com. They can browse and upload any doc-
ument, enter their information, and print. They
are given a receipt number (DocID), which is
used to retrieve the document on-demand at the
printer. Documents stay secure and confidential.
• Via e-mail : Files can also be sent via e-mail.
Guests can forward e-mails with documents
attached to a unique e-mail address that
PrintMe TM assigns to each printer. Similar to web
printing, they are given a DocID to retrieve the
document at their convenience.
PrintMe TM can handle most document formats
®
including Microsoft Word™, PowerPoint™, and
Excel™, HTML, JPEG, PDF, and more. With built-
in end-to-end 128-bit SSL encryption, documents
are secure from the time they are uploaded until
they are printed.
