Adding track marks
automatically (Auto
Time Mark)
Use lhis feature to add track marks
automatically at specified intervals when
recording through lhe analog input
conneclor.
Control key

While ll_e recorder is recording or in
recording pause, press MENU.
2 Press _ or _ repeatedly until
"TimeMk" flashes in lhe display, and
then press ENTER.
3 Press _ or _ repeatedly until
the desired time interval flashes in lhe
display, and fllen press ENTER.
Select one of lhe lbllowing intervals:
Display Time
OFF
; min
Approx. 5 min.
10 rain Approx. 10 rain.
15 rain Approx. 15 rain.
To cancel Auto Time Mark
Select "OFF", and then press ENTER in
step 3, or stop recording.
Using Auto Time Mark to add
track marks while recording
When the elapsed recording time
exceeds the time interval for Auto
Time Mark:
The recorder adds track marks at ll_e point
you set ll_e time interval and from that
point the recorder adds a track mark
whenever the time interval has elapsed.
Example: Eight minutes of recording has
been compleled when the Auto Time
Mork time interval is set lo 5 minutes.
A track mark will be added at the 8-
minute point (after the start of recording)
and afler each 5-minute interval
lhereafler.
When the time interval set for Auto
Time Mark exceeds the elapsed
recording time:
The recorder adds a track mark when the
set Auto lime Mark time interval has
elapsed.
Example: Three minutes of recording has
been compleled when the Auto Time
Mork time interval is set lo 5 minutes.
A track mark will be added at the 5-
minute point (after the start of recording)
and afler each 5-minute interval
lhereafler.
"T" appears before the track display on tile
recorder for track marks added by Auto Time
Mark.
Notes
• Automatic track marking by Auto Time Mark
starts when yotl add a normal track mark to
lhe disc (i.e., by pressing T MARK or I I,
etc.).
• The setting will be lost when the recording is
stopped.
