Changin 9 the Battery
CAUTION: To reduce the risk of fire or personal injury, only use
the Thomson Inc. approved Nickel-Metal Hydride battery model
5-2826, which is compatible with this unit.
1. Makesure handset is OFF(notin TALKmode)beforeyou replacebattery.
2. Removethe battery compartment door.
3. Disconnectthe battery plug from the jack insidethe battery compartment and
removethe battery pack from the handset.
/4. Insertthe new battery pack and connect the cord to the jack insidethe battery
compartment.
5. Putthe battery compartment door back on.
6. Placehandset in the baseor handset charge cradleto charge. Allow the handset
battery to properly charge(for 16 hours) prior to first useor when you
install a new battery pack. If you do not properly charge the phone, battery
performance will be compromised.

Do not burn,disassemble,mutilate, or puncture. Likeother batteriesof this type,
toxic materials could be releasedwhich can cause injury.

Toreducethe risk of fire or personalinjury, useonly the Nickel-MetalHydride
battery listed in the User'sGuide.

Keepbatteries out of the reachof children.
•
Removebatteries if storing over 30 days.
